Golf Tournament 7 a.m. Oct 15

The Manhattan Konza Rotary Club will hold its annual Fundraiser Golf Tournament at Colbert Hills Golf Course located at 5200 Colbert Hills Dr on Friday, October 15. There will be a short Club business meeting at 7 a.m. followed by a T-time at first light, around 7:30 a.m.
Fundraising for the 2010-11 Club year that includes the golf outing, as well as events to come, has been substantial. Total money raised as of Oct. 1 is $4,850.00.

Donor money details:
• Donor Monies will be used for Manhattan Konza Rotary projects including:
Manhattan Area Technical College student scholarships and the Children's Dictionary/ Thesaurus Program.
• For the last five years Manhattan Konza Rotary has awarded two $500 scholarships to Manhattan Area Technical College Students.
• The Club has also provided thesauruses to the entire USD 383 fifth grade classes and dictionaries to the entire fourth grade Catholic and Flint Hills Christian Schools.
• All donor monies will be used solely for Konza Rotary Projects.
