What it is: The 6th Annual Bill Snyder Highway Half and 5K will be on Saturday, May 23, 2020. Coach Snyder has selected the following primary charities to benefit from the race: K-State’s Johnson Cancer Research Center, Shepherd’s Crossing, Snyder Leadership Legacy Fellows, and the Matt Snyder Foundation for Troubled Youth. Last year, the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation had funds available to pay volunteers, which we then donated to our Konza Rotary Club. We hope the same will be true for this year!

Time frame: ~7:00am to 9-10:00am on Saturday, May 23.

Invite others! Friends & family are welcome to join you, we just ask that their pay also be given to our club! Please share this link with anyone you would like to invite.

More details: We anticipate most of the details will remain the same this year, but will provide updates as we know more. Race volunteers are asked to help for 1-2 hours at a race location to be determined; I think last year it was closer to three hours, but we can split this up into two shifts if some people cannot stay that long. Last year, each volunteer received a time-valued credit for a contribution to the organization they were representing. This value will vary from $10-25/hr. pending the number of runners and registration income.
