What it is: The 6th Annual Bill Snyder Highway Half and 5K will be on Monday, Sep. 7, 2020 (Labor Day). Coach Snyder has selected the following primary charities to benefit from the race: K-State’s Johnson Cancer Research Center, Homecare & Hospice, Boys & Girls Club, Matt Snyder Foundation for Troubled Youth. Last year, the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation paid volunteers and we were able to raise a few hundred dollars for our club!

Time frame: approximately 7:00am to 10:30am on Monday, September 7.

Invite others! Friends & family are welcome to join you, we just ask that their pay also be given to our club! Please share this event page with anyone you would like to invite.

More details: We will send out details to people who register as we hear more. It sounds like the finish line will likely be in downtown Manhattan this year (as opposed to Bill Snyder Family Stadium). If you are only able to participate for the first or last half of the morning, contact Ryan Hamel and let him know and we'll see if we can split up a few positions into two shifts. Last year, each volunteer received a time-valued credit for a contribution to the organization they were representing. This value will vary from $10-25/hr. depending on the number of runners and registration income.
